Born in Oregon, Sherrie grew up with a huge amount of passion and respect for nature and the Pacific Northwest. Now living in Seattle, WA, she spends nearly every weekend hiking, climbing, or biking, either with local groups such as the Seattle Mountaineers or with her friends who are as crazy as she is! While she knows nearly every nook and cranny of Mount Rainier National Park, she has never experienced any of the National Parks outside of Washington State. This road trip will be an opportunity for her to explore and learn of the greatness that the Western United States has to offer.
Top sights to see
Sherrie is most excited for the hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Also, she is going to see if she can get a last minute permit to climb Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. Wish her luck!
